While it has been two years since I have gotten to go to the beach, my favorite thing in summer at times when I did get to go was getting up really early in the morning before the rest of my family and walking the beach alone for at least an hour or more. I also enjoyed sitting out early and painting on the beach alone with my thoughts and the sound of waves crashing.

my favorite summer time activity would be hitting the "cheapie" show every Tuesday with our son...who can beat .75 for a movie, $1 for a hot dog and mommy "sneakin" in a soda! Such fun and something we do "just us two!"
